ROOTED IN THE MIDWEST​

WearLab works closely with Iowa-based manufacturers, organizations, and partners to develop and produce our products locally. These relationships allow us to stay hands-on throughout the design and manufacturing process, from early prototyping to final production, while maintaining quality, flexibility, and accountability.

Building locally also supports meaningful collaboration. By working directly with engineers, clinicians, and end users, we’re able to test ideas in real settings, make informed adjustments, and design solutions that respond to actual needs rather than assumptions.

As we continue to grow, we’re developing future collaborations with partners such as Blank Children’s Hospital. These ongoing efforts help guide the next phase of our work, connecting clinical insight with design and engineering to improve wearable systems for medically and physically vulnerable populations.
